Mail carriers are counted on each and every day to deliver mail to many homes and businesses across the country and around the world. Having a postal strike means that these many pieces of mail will be delayed and orders cannot be filled and delivered on time. Business and home owners alike depend on having their mail delivered and cannot afford to risk delays due to a postal strike.
In addition, when there is a postal strike we will not see our mail reaching its destination and the recipient being disappointed when they do not receive a much awaited letter or package. To avoid this the postal system should reconsider having a postal strike for these reasons.

Education Starts With You First And Foremost
Most people will tell you that the education is failing our students, but a closer look maybe the opposite is true. Kids are becoming lazy thanks to technology and it has things much easier for them. Today’s kids know if they need an answer they just Google it and presto there the answer is for them. No more looking it up and trying to figure things out on their own.
We have become a push button society and have made good education tough to find these days. In the same aspect though this has produced lazy kids whom know they do not have to the work like it was thirty or forty years ago. It is not the educational system that has failed, but the approach that we have with today’s students that could be the problem. Maybe it is time to get back to old fashion good education where the student was expected to learn something in school.
Bats in flight
In particularly thick evenings, you can sit outside where I live and look at the sky, before it gets too dark, you can see small bird like creatures jumping from tree to tree.
It took weeks of course, until I actually noticed that what we thought were birds, were actually bats flying around from tree to tree. Gliding around like flying squirrels, from spot to spot looking for food in the time they have considering they are nocturnal creatures.
Bats went through an evolutionary step about 49 million years ago from a rodent, squirrel like creature. Bats use the flaps of skin along their skeleton lime many other gliding mammals, but they fly much like birds, they will start fluttering rapidly and rest while they are gliding.
Bats flying is actually a quite fascinating process to look at, more specifically moving using sonar alone.
Analyzing the Biggest Threats Around the World
Every year around this time various government agencies release their predictions of what will be the biggest world crisis in the coming year. This year the threats are mostly political in nature and relate to shifting balances of power. The list it topped by so called rogue states and include some political and economic concerns caused by changing environmental conditions. The biggest threats as defined by the U.S. intellegience agencies are:
-Iran developin nuclear weapons and using them to disrupt world trade or begin hostilities with neighboring countries.
-The power vaccums created by the “Arab Spring” uprisings.
-Potential long term economic and political instability caused by freshwater shortage and flooding in key U.S. allied countries.
-The new leader of North Korea and whether or not he has the power to use nuclear weapons, and the will to use them.
